The Dental Centre Data Protection policy regulations (GDPR)
The General Data Protection Regulations, (GDPR) came into force on 25th May 2018.

As a dental practice we will endeavour to protect all patient’s details and will comply to all the latest information regarding data protection.

We will never sell on or pass on any information regarding patient data.

We have policies in place for referrals relating to orthodontics and hospital referrals via government systems. We are in possession of such policies to safe guard your data.

All patients will be required to fill in a consent form which will allow us to confirm appointments, it also gives us permission to send text message reminders, messages to be left on landline numbers and to speak to a member of your family confirming appointments only.

At no time will we discuss treatment with a third party i.e, husband, wife, or relative without written consent.

You do not have to fill in a consent form if you choose not to, but this means we will never confirm appointments via answerphone service, mobile texts or a third party.
